Expert Tree Cabling and Bracing
Cabling and bracing works well for many trees, but sometimes not all. You need a tree care expert to inspect a tree to see whether it needs to come down altogether or if it is a good candidate for cabling and braces services.
Capital City Tree Service will first prune the tree to remove any unnecessary and damaged branches, while also checking for signs of instability that might not be seen with the untrained eye. They take into account the different variables that affect tree health and determine what option is best between bracing and cabling.
Little Rock Tree Bracing
A tree might be in need of bracing if it shows signs of irreparable structural damage. This can include cracking or splitting of the trunk or things called v-crotches, which is when the point that connects a trunk has a tight, narrow space as opposed to a more stable u-shape. This can make the tree unbalanced or top-heavy, likely to split even more or collapse altogether with harsh weather conditions like wind and snow.
When our arborists install bracing thread rods into the trunks and limbs of trees, it is meant to stabilize any weak crotches, repair them, or create substantial holding power for limbs rubbing together.
Little Rock Tree Cabling
A tree might be in need of cabling if it shows signs that there are weak crotches or potentially dangerous limbs. Cables are high-strength and made of steel, attaching to bolts installed on the upper crown of trees. This is done in an attempt to reduce and limit excessive movement during harsh weather that causes a lot of stress on already weakened trees.
Much like bracing, it it meant to prevent any harm coming to you or your property. However, be prepared to visually inspect your cabling once a year and have a professional physically inspect it once every four years. This is meant to check its durability and make any adjustments as they see fit.
